Founded in 1974 by Yale friends Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, Troma Entertainment stands as the oldest independent movie studio in North America and has become an authentic titan in the industry. The renowned studio is globally recognized for its production and distribution of timeless films like Kaufman's "The Toxic Avenger," Trey Parker's "Cannibal! The Musical," "Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead," "Class of Nuke 'Em High," Charles Kaufman's "Mother's Day," and "Tromeo & Juliet." Troma's extensive library of 1000 films, cartoons, TV shows, and shorts also includes early works from many of today's celebrated artists. Notable Troma alumni include Jenna Fischer, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Costner, Fergie, Vincent D'Onofrio, Samuel L. Jackson, James Gunn, and Eli Roth. The studio's most recent in-house productions are "Return to Nuke 'Em High: Volumes 1 & 2."
